Bioscrypt to Present at Security and Biometrics Workshops Targeted to US and Canadian Government
The IBIA Biometric Challenge Workshop and the OPS Security Forum and Workshops 2007 have invited Bioscrypt to share industry and technology thought leadership and expertise Toronto, ON (April 11, 2007) – Bioscrypt Inc. (TSX: BYT), a leading provider of enterprise access control technology, today announced that experts from the Company will be speaking at the OPS Security Forum and Workshops 2007 on April 11 and the International Biometric Industry Association (IBIA) Biometric Challenge Workshop on April 19. The IBIA will host a Biometric Challenge Workshop on April 19 and 20 in Washington, DC at the Army and Navy Club. The overall goal of the workshop is to identify the challenges facing the biometrics industry, identify what industry is already doing, and plans to do in the future, to address some of the challenges, and how government might assist industry in meeting those challenges.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for industry and government to develop a better understanding of the key government mission requirements for biometrics, the state of the technology today and areas for future development. The format of the workshop will encourage an open exchange and in-depth give-and-take discussion between industry leaders and key representatives of Federal agencies to foster a better understanding of priority needs and goals.
The OPS Security Forum and Workshops 2007 is the inaugural security conference for all employees of the Ontario government sponsored by the Emergency Management and Security Branch, Ministry of Government Services.
The workshop, Security: Time to think about it! features presentations on a variety of topics, including: physical security, personnel screening, facilities management, information management and privacy protection.
