CTV’s Canada AM to Showcase Bioscrypt’s Biometric Solutions

Bioscrypt to demonstrate various applications of its biometric technology

Toronto, ON (June 4, 2007) – Bioscrypt Inc. (TSX: BYT), a leading provider of enterprise access control solutions, today announced that Colin Soutar, Bioscrypt’s CTO and EVP of Research & Technology, is scheduled to appear in a recorded interview on Canada AM on Tuesday, June 5th at approximately 7:40 Eastern Time. During the segment he will discuss Bioscrypt’s physical and logical enterprise access control products and will also demonstrate the company’s award-winning Veri-Series fingerprint readers; the VisionAccess 3D Face Reader and Enrolment Station; and the recently introduced VisionAccess 3D DeskCam.

Canada AM will also highlight Bioscrypt’s recent work with SaferKidz’s parent-controlled, online identification system. SaferKidz chose Bioscrypt’s advanced technology to capture detailed 3D facial images of kids for archived storage, to assist in locating children in the unfortunate event that they are abducted or go missing. Bioscrypt’s 3D images are superior to flat 2D still pictures for this important application, as they can provide detailed and accurate surface images that can be rapidly distributed to the appropriate authorities to quickly locate a missing child.

“Many organizations are integrating biometric solutions into their security plans to protect their most valuable assets because they recognize that biometrics are the most secure way to authenticate individuals,” said Robert M. Douglas, Bioscrypt’s President & CEO. “We’re pleased that Canada AM will feature Bioscrypt’s solutions and showcase how versatile and easy to use they are.”

Canada AM, CTV’s popular morning show, airs weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Atlantic region, and 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. elsewhere in Canada and brings viewers the latest local, national and international news, business, weather, sports and entertainment.
