Bioscrypt Strengthens Leadership Team with the Appointment of New Senior Vice President, Americas Sales

Mark Duato to lead Bioscrypt’s strategic sales initiatives to accelerate profitable growth

Toronto, ON (September 24, 2007) – Bioscrypt Inc. (TSX: BYT), a leading provider of identity and access management technology, today announced that Mark Duato has been appointed Senior Vice President, Americas Sales.

Mr. Duato, who brings over 20 years of experience and distinction in the security industry in marketing, sales and executive sales management roles, will be leading Bioscrypt’s strategic and tactical plans to accelerate the company’s profitable growth by further establishing the Company’s hardware, software and services offerings across the Americas and delivering the Company’s physical/logical identity management solution to market.

Mr. Duato has joined us from Software House, a Tyco International company where he led North American Access Control/Video Systems sales. Mark increased business within Tyco’s internal sales channels by over 70 percent in year-over-year growth and increased ADT’s U.S.-based business by more than 40 percent over the previous year. As the Vice President of Sales for Acoustic Technologies Inc., Mr. Duato developed a multi-layer channel partner strategy. During his career, Mr. Duato has secured many multi-million dollar deals, including a $4.5 million access control and video systems project with Adesta and Army Corps of Engineers for the Grand Coulee Dam project, which he closed as the Director of Vertical Marketing for GE Interlogix.
